A visit back home always produces a certain amount of inspiration for my canvases and none more than my most recent which reminded me of old downtown Kingston and the old capital Spanish Town. These were the haunts of the great Jamaican Intuitive painter David Pottinger, a man whose work has been a great influence for me.
