It has been 52 years since the passage of the Civil Rights Act in the USA and 143 years since the abolition of slavery. Yet Blacks and other non-White racial groups are today finding their existence in these United States of America under siege. Recent political developments in the country have refueled Racial strife with the situation exploding this past weekend in certain states.
This painting underlines the need for consensus among disparate groups to unite and to close ranks as we once more advocate for equality in the Union.
